Do you (or your young adult) have post-graduation jitters?

Marilyn Brohm |

Did your child leave the college campus to join the workforce in their first real job?  Think of all the complexities that the umbrella of “employee benefits” now entails!

Or, did your child graduate from high school?  Do they need some cashflow management tips before you send them off to college this fall – with your money?

Set them up with a phone or office meeting with us. We will review the financial planning steps to help them get started on the right foot. No charge.

In the past we’ve sat down with the young adult children of clients to review different budgeting approaches –as they’re going off to college, or getting married, or getting divorced.

We’ve gone through the employee benefits sections of employer websites.  We’ve covered what’s important to do first, then second, then third to help them prioritize how to spend their new paychecks.  We’ve emphasized the important of paying off their own student loans! ? We’ve reviewed the investment choices in their 401k pensions, and help them setup their contributions to save.
